Oh look I'm writing!
Yeah yeah it does sounds surprising as I declared whole summer as the "time not really good for writing". Dooh there is something to be said about crazy weather and ten hour work day in that matter. Everyone is on holidays and I'm stuck with the Client from Hell. But then I had an idea for planet destruction field on my h/c bingo card, and it stuck in my head and didn't want to go away till I wrote it, so I did. And I wrote even two endings... in the end I chose the first one and my beta made realize that there are many things not explained. Some I could let go, but some... well that brought me to write another fic to explain those things and as they had to happen before... So I have now two sequels, or rather a sequel to "Origin of Troubles" and sequel to sequel written. One long one short, and oh surprise they both fill something on h/c card, the second one is for drowning, but only if you squint your eyes. You will right?
And oh if I publish those two, maybe next week, I will need only two more fics to make a line in the bingo card. Whooha how did that happen! And I really would like to write more.
But. Yes there is but. Big one. Named my NaNoWriMo story from 2011, that is waiting and waiting for edits. And I even made some steps into that direction - downloaded all to my Kindle app and I'm reading and making notes on what needs changing. I read it three times already before, but never made notes. Now I do. And when I finish I will start edits and then, then I shall finally finish writing it... and that will also mean start publishing before next NaNo. I promised myself I will do that, let's see if I can keep my promise.
So what else is on the plate? Plenty just don't know when it will be done:
1. The most important now "Whiskey Barrel". AU set in the future. After Elizabeth was kidnapped by Keller, Neal did what he had to do to get her back. Behind FBI and Peter's back, but it cost him his freedom. Three years later he is a free man, but there are no Burkes in his life anymore, till a earthquake puts him in Boston, crossing his life with a serial killer and Peter Burke. Quite dark as my cheerleader reader summarized, there is serial killer story mixed with getting the boys in their own good graces back.
2. "Peter's Pan Shadow" second most important story to finish as there are three chapters out, and only a slight idea for the next one in the works. Writing magical realism is quite more difficult than I imagined.
3. The two stories from Neal by any other name, one will be finished, sometimes when I sit and do it. The other, well it's on the list, still.
4. I had a small idea to write "Brown" to the Shades of Grey series but it's only one paragraph and that's not enough to say what I want to say.
5. "Hogan's Alley" is for now suspended, yes it was supposed to be my Big Bang White Collar story, but it's waiting for the story to shape itself, some more time please. There will be bormance, some crimes from Neal past, and overall more humor than anything. What can you expect when you ask a conman for training scenario for your probies?
6. There are four stories in a new series I want to do about Elizabeth Burke. Or more exactly about the tattoos on her body, the actress have four of them, and I wrote one story already, one is in the works, and for sure I have and idea for the third one. But it will be published as a series only if I'm able to write all four stories. They can range from short drabbels to longer stories.
Well I think that's all for now folks. Well the list is in my level of importance, but what would you like to read first? Maybe you can convince my muse....
