Superman
I just watched Superman Returns again this morning while cleaning up the house & working on doula & RFL stuff. Why did people slag this movie so much? I just don't get it. Brandon Routh was amazing as Supes (and his resemblance to Chris Reeves is unbelievable.) That coupled with the music gives me the chills so bad (nerd, I know, but it does!) I realize the movie is a bit long, but the story is good, and just because it's not all action all the time doesn't mean it wasn't enjoyable. (It's better than Daredevil and didn't have an awful dance sequence like Spidey 3).
Anyhow, I dunno why I'm suddenly defending it, except that I just finished it & enjoyed it from the word go. So what he picked up a mountain-like structure...it totally drained him to do so, didn't it? That was the only flaw I could think of in the movie when I first saw it & after watching it again, I don't even care. It was great!!
Okay...off to each lunch & continue cleaning while X3 is on...
