random thought
i was reading a story by sanguine2 and she mentions that boats are referred to in the feminine. always was, always will. ive known that for a long time, but while i was reading it, for some reason i started thinking about potc too, and the fact that women were considered bad luck at sea. isnt calling your ship a she, and then saying women are bad luck like jinxing yourself? or is women at sea a bad luck thing cause women get jealous of each other and you think your boat is going to rebel if a women is on board?
