when you asked if i remembered the time we looked up at the stars
saying no, i dont remember
remembering
not telling you i just remembered

throwing acorns at the washhouse from the top of skull rock
getting in trouble for throwing acorns
getting in trouble for being on skull rock
continuing to do both

I remember...
dancing in the middle of the field trying to make a dance
you biking out to help with it
you doing the worm
our parents making fun of us

I remember...
reading my book on the deck 
you walking through the field to the play structure, every once in a while looking towards me (don't deny it)
finally deciding to stop reading and go over to hang with you
finding you in MY swing
offering to play volleyball
kicking your ass

I remember...
going to the movies with you
watching a movie i dont particularly recall liking
sitting in the handicapped section by accident
looking at all the luminescent houses decorated fo christmas on the way home
