And now for something random
It's Tuesday. This is the second business day I have been officially unemployed, and I am already bored senseless.
Had an interview yesterday with another recruiter, as my previous recruiter is not calling me back *insert irritability*. Interview went well, but it's clear that she is very busy with placement. Whatever. I will keep trucking along. The weather is suckfastic, so I can't even go out to plant. Boo!
I'm starting to feel scared about not working already. I know that I can go anywhere and do any old job, but it's been two months, and I am becoming afraid for the welfare of my household. Nonetheless, I am taking this week off. I will clean. I will focus 150% on getting my face out there, and I will relax. A week off to chill out, without worrying myself to death.
Last weekend was lovely. I wish I had the patience to figure out how to implant other LJers into my post, but I don't. So anyway, Bekka and Lis came over on Saturday, and we sang our little hearts out. So fun, so hungover!
Mel's prom is on Friday. Can you BELIEVE my child is going to her first prom?? She chose a very modest dress (thank you, lord) and while I offered to have her hair done, she said no. I will help her get ready, told her to make sure Boyfriend picks up a corsage, and I am going to CRYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY. My little girl is going to her first prom. In all honesty, I hate it. All dressed up. Almost an adult. Why doesn't she want to live with me forEVER.
Stupid kid. Stupid prom. Stupid life.
