I'm fine!
This storm was the worst thing that could ever happen to the Mississippi Gulf Coast... My dad's house is in perfect condition and my mom's house has one small hole in it.. no big deal. She lost the back window to her car though.. but that's nothing compared to what alot of my friends got.. I'm glad everyone is okay.. I'm praying for all of you south of the tracks.. Jonathan, Scott, Zach, even Adrian. And everyone else too.. I hope you all are okay. Cell phones aren't working well.. I can text message and can only call sometimes.
I went to Georgia with Mason and his family to get away from the storm.. seeing the news was terrible.. it's like the whole Gulf Coast is going to hell. Looters and cops having to shoot them.. everything gone.. people putting signs in their front yard saying "U LOOT, WE SHOOT" it's all terrible.
Mason's house and pretty much his whole neighborhood (including Bethany, Mrs. Head, Travis Brimm, the Biereshenks (sp?), Linsdey Davis, and Patrick Reeves) got about 2-3 feet of water in their houses. When we got to his house, they had to kick the door in cause the wooden floor got all messed up and was crooked and stuff. About 2 feet in his house. We had to spend Mason's 18th birthday ripping out carpet and stuff. His plans were to go to Bourbon Street.. I guess that won't be happening for a while. I am still staying with him.. they have a camper and a generator and we have air conditioning at night and we can cook stuff like ravioli and ramen noodles. And we are taking cold showers (which feel good at night after you have been working all day).
My mom and step dad had to go to Nebraska yesterday to stay with my family cause they lost their jobs to the hurricane.. when it's back they will be back I hope...
I have been polishing all his mom's antique furnisher to try to restore it cause alot of it was damaged. We are in Baton Rouge now getting fuel and supplies to bring back to Long Beach. I swear like every 10 minutes, cop sirens go off there.. it's scary.
I'm scared to see the list of people who died.. I know everyone will know at least one person and it just scares me alot.. I'm praying.
Bay St. Louis and Pass Christian completely gone.. the only thing standing of the Pass Wal Mart is the back wall and someone said there are a bunch of bodies back there.. There is a cop every 30 feet of the tracks to make sure noone goes over the tracks cause they are still looking for some bodies and if you try to go over them and they catch you, they will shoot you.. Its crazy..
