Gorgeous
OK, so it's Tuesday and late for an update, but regardless it was such a fantastic weekend that it needs a chronicle:
Got into London at teatime on Friday, then for drinks with Monty, the Bears, Angus, Mel and Dave. A lovely straightforward pub, rather than a posh bar, and lots of good gossip flowing with the lager.
Saturday got the papers in bed, went out for sushi, mooched around the kitchen department at John Lewis dribbling on things, saw the amazing Turks exhibition at the RA, mooched around Fortnum's lovely foodhall (dribbled on some more things), went to Chinatown to get some foodie bits that I can't buy in this neck of the woods, then had a lovely takeaway curry from the amazing takeaway in East Finchley that I can't remember the name of. Fell asleep infront of the telly (us old folk know how to party). V. relaxing after a massively stressful week.
Sunday was lovely - cocktails in Soho with Monty's workmate and friends, much hilarity and a drunken stagger across London for a 5am start on Monday morning.
Wonderful weekend. Just a shame I'm bored stupid in the office.
