Hit on a 16?
No, I aint talking about an underage girl. I am talking about a classic blackjack question. It is the number one mistake by blackjack players. Players will stay on 16 when the dealer is showing a 7 or better, which is a huge mistake. Nevertheless, I seen so many hard 16 vs a dealer 10 while in Vegas last week that I could have been sickened. I got schallacked in Sin City last week, losing over $500 in Blackjack. Only for my gains in Craps was I able to leave Vegas down lesss than 500 down.
On Craps, I shot 6 points in a row in Craps at Binions, which is amazing. This is something that happenes about .4% of the time when you shoot. I made $115 in one time with the dice, which is amazing with a $3 Min craps game. Don't worry though, quickly I lost it back with some bad luck at the blackjack table.
Despite my losses, Vegas round two was a great time. It was alot colder, with tempertatures in the 40s. I stayed on the strip at the Stratosphere, which was very nice for the $37 we paid a night. The flight was nice. Since we stayed at the hotel, we got to go to the top of the Strat for free, which was an amazing view. Ben won free tickets to see the Amazing Johnthan, which was a great show. It is a comedy magic show and had a great feel to it.
We ate at the Paris buffet, which was the best buffet I ever had, hands down.
I have now been to every casino on the strip except New Frontier and Casino Royale. Downtown I have now just missed the El Cortez, Gold Spike and Lady Luck.
Vegas was fun, but next time it is a trip to somewhere else.
