Everybody look down
Yesterday I went to Kim's barbeque which I had actually forgotten about because I had hoped I wouldn't be in Perth at the time. We ate lots of sausages and other meaty things and then played Rock Band for at least an hour. I am staggeringly bad at guitar, despite being right near the Guitar Hero demo at work. Clearly I should play with it during breaks so I can at least hold my end up. Did well on the vocals though, which I suppose proves I am merely not good at singing, rather than terrible. With the aid of alcohol anyway.
A few of us went out on the town afterwards, but it was hot when I had left the house much earlier in the day and was only wearing shorts, not considering that we might go out. You can't get in anywhere with shorts, so I just went home after messing around a bit. I'm resolved to leave a spare pair of pants in my car at all times to prevent a repeat.
I did randomly bump into a guy from high school, however, so it wasn't a complete waste of time.
Australia finally won a cricket game tonight, also, so it's been a better couple of days, I guess. This week I have to wrap up all the uni stuff - the lack of communication is maddening.
