"there's too many ewoks"
well well well..summer is lovely.
STEVE CAME HOME ON SATURDAY. too bad i was soaking in the rays, playing beer pong, and enjoying the sunsets alone at the beach.
anyway. lately:
-i went to camp to visit steve on casey's birthday and i got to see the most beautiful place in the world. steve and i hiked A LOT, and he even got me to run, which i hate doing. i tell ya, i can exercise until my ass falls off, but i absolutely HATE to run. anyway, we also got to witness the wonder that is redneck boyscouts (aka the kid whose room we stayed in with the huge rebel flag, poster of jessica simpson from Dukes of Hazard, and beef jerky). that was fun. in the morning, he brought me to a stream with a beautiful waterfall and we went into the freeeeezing water to take some of the most awesome pictures ever. what a great night/morning.
-i went to the lake with the clan (chels, bid, and andrew) and had the most amazing day of summer (minus the ones with steve) so far. we kayaked, we went on the speed boat, we tubed, we slid on the andrew-made-kayak-slide, we did it all! and i caught it all on my new digital camera, but unfortunately dropped it off of the dock when we were picking up our belongings to leave. IT SUCKED. but i ordered the next better model on friday, so there.
-i got to hang out with juss, and he slept over after sarah and sean came to hang out for a while.
-i've been working. i trained momma, which was fun. we got free pizza!
-i went to see House of Wax (aka the paris hilton movie), which was EXTREMELY disturbing and totally uncalled for at points. it was still good, though.
-i saw libber's new and improved BROWN hair, which looks great.
-i went to the beach for my cousin's 21st birthday party, which was A LOT of fun, and finally got to sleep in my tent. i gained my tan back a little from last month, and i went into the ocean and got some surfing lessons from my LEGAL cousin, terry.
we just got home about an hour ago, and everyone in the house is sleeping from the trip (since we drove through the night), but i can't sleep knowing that when i call steve, i'll see him about 30 minutes later. YAAAAY. now i'm going to go take a shower and make a phone call.
