Well, the past few days have been interesting, I guess.
Last Friday night, Evan, Jessica, and I decided to go down to Eclipse to listen to the "Poetry Slam". It ends up being a competition, and Evan signs both of us up..and we end up reading. I made it to the semifinals (top 6 of 25), and Evan ended up getting 2nd place. Fun times.
I've been going to the gym a lot, lately. Working out, playing walleyball (volleyball in a racquetball court), and Racquetball. I went with Patrick the other day, and we did a serious workout. I had trouble sleeping last night, because I hurt so bad. The slightest movement of my upperbody just sends pain everywhere....it's no good.
The food's getting progressively worse.
I got tired of waiting for a MicroFridge (fridge,freezer,microwave in one) from the school. But they won't let you have a microwave any other way, so I wanted one. So, I finally buckled down and told mom to bring the fridge from the house up here. So she does, and we go through the hassle of moving it in here, and stocking it. The next morning Housing calls me, and tells me they have a MicroFridge available. *sigh*
Someone decided to throw a large tree branch threw my window, sending glass all over the place, the other night. I'm on the fourth floor,..that takes skill. That's not an "accident", either. Even more fun, there was no RA available. None, of the 4 were around. Glad I didn't get seriously hurt, or have a heartattack, or something.
I miss everyone, more and more with the passing days.
