There is lots to tell:
I got home yesterday from Nationals. Here's how it went...The first day was Cadet and I wasn't fencing very well. On top of that, I had to fence Arielle to make the eight and I lost to her 15-14 which was very dissapointing. But I was really happy for her because she took third. That night I went to dinner with Matt and his dad and my mom and Mrs. Glasser (Ally's mom)Honestly tho, I was so tired that I don't remember anything that happened except that I probably fell asleep on Matt (haha). By the way, Abby got top eight in Cadet which I was extrememly happy about for her cause she'd never made finals but it made me not making finals hard to take. However, I am so proud of her and the events that followed made up for any dissapointment that I felt. The next day, I was fencing juniors and I felt really tired and bummed from the day before. I told Irene that I didn't want to fence, but I did anyway. I made finals in Junior which was a total suprise and really cool. Of course I had to fence Dorris for the four, but whatever, I made the eight so it was all good. Third day I had fourteens. Simon told me that I didn't have to fence but I thought that I should just because it was the last time I was ever going to fence in it. And luckily I fenced because I won. It was really gratifying just because it was something that wasn't necessarily important in point standings or making any team but it was important to me. That was the clincher for the weekend I think. Also, in the bout for the top two, Jon was directing and Brendan was keeping score and time so they made me feel better--not that it was biased toward me but it was just nice to have them there. In the final, Dan was directing which was also cool.
More exciting news: Matt won Junior for sabre: tres cool. And Emily won Junior women's foil, Bo won Y12 mens foil, and Ben won Junior Mens Epee...we also won lots of other stuff which is always fun.
That was all boring probably, but it had to be retold.
Lator Gators.
