Not sure how many people still read this, but hey! I've posted!
Quick updates, work is work. The less said the better.
Been catching up on my reading. A friend loaned me a fascinating book on the history of Soviet secret service actions from Lenin's Cheka all the way to the end of the Cold War. Fascinating reading, often grim. The author was an archivist for the KGB who risked his life by copying information from their files and hiding it for well over a decade. He wasn't able to defect with his files until after Glasnost and the volumes of information he brought were astonishing.
On the comic front, I've been giving Power Girl a try, which is a fun comic, but the story has big holes even for a comicbook. Also got some more Astro City in, which is always good.
One of my vendors has a seminar for me tomorrow, that includes watching the new X-Men movie. Should be fun, and it's also the only way this one would be on my list to catch in the theater.
