I am frustrated, so I will just rant, and feel better for writing it down.
I am an ESOL/ESL Adult teacher working at AISD, and Austin Community College. I have been working at AISD for at least seven years off and on, and ACC for over a year now. My boss at ACC is quite nice, but quite un-organized and won't tell me how many class I will be teaching this fall. I have sent her e-mail reminders, and called once last week. She was suppose to tell me three weeks ago, but then she took a holiday, went to a convention, and then her boss took a holiday. I fully understand that they are very busy, but I deserve an answer. I waited patiently, and sent only a few e-mail, and calls; however I MUST know in order to plan my fall semester. I have a toddler who will start full time daycare in September, and I MUST work.
So, I sit and wait, and wonder if I should call, and wait a few days giving her time. I don't want to be a pest, but on the other hand, I MUST know!!!!
