Bad vibrations
A fluorescent light in my room snores. Only occasionally, usually at night, always annoying.
It sort of trembles and shakes. My roommate and I don't have any idea what is setting it off. The light may not have been used in a few days or has been burning for the past few hours, and still it gets worked up and rumbling like a tiny earthquake. The vibrations sound exactly like snores.
And here I thought I'd finally have peaceful, uninterrupted sleep since I've been rid of the dorm-room curse of radiators. Shoulda known there'd be no such luck.
