6 days til prelims!
i'm soooo excited for prelims. the show is really starting to come together. except the thing is, last year all i had to worry about was 5 on, and then during the show i just hoped the actors wouldn't screw up (which they didn't). but this year, i'm doing sound and mrs. dennis is all like "you guys have the most pressure on you," which is kind of scary cuz i really cant mess up. and the sound for this show is really confusing and hard to keep track of. but hopefully i'll get it right.
anyways, yesterday was really fun. the crazy try-whatever-you-want run was quite entertaining, especially when jo sort of turned into mrs. dennis. oh and me and darby figured out why we were never online on each other's buddy lists. it was cuz she had o's instead of zeros in my sn. silly darby.
last night was our cast/crew dinner at bertuccis. except jack came over like an hour before i left and i really didn't want to leave him but i did cuz i figured he was probably going to go to sleep pretty soon after i left. i did get to feed him before i left (some gross-looking mush). and then when i was at bertuccis i saw that i had a missed call from hanna so i called her and she was saying something about falafel and telling me to come to becca's house but i couldn't. :(
today was our first performance for parents. i think sound went ok. my mom said the show was really good, but she's just a bit biased.
so lets see, what else happened today? (i know this entry is really long, but i would like to put off my english essay and SAT practice for as long as i can.) oh yeah...ben got a boat! i want a boat! i ask my parents for one all the time, but they always say no. it doesn't have to be huge, a small yacht would be nice.
so after rehearsal i got to paint the stage. except its one of those things that you're really excited to do and then is fun for about 10 seconds. but i did it anyways. so i'm painting the stage, i look up, and what do i see? ben and max cleaning the booth. i'm so proud of them. usually i just hear, "nicole and justine, clean the booth." it was a nice change.
i think i've run out of things to talk about now, so i'm gonna go do some work. i can't believe i have to go to school tomorrow. at least i dont have math.
