This was first attempt at making salsa. It turned out pretty well, my only complaint is that it is too mild for my tastes. It could definitely handle more peppers.

1. This might as well be called vegetables Porn: 8 tomatoes, 4 large cloves of garlic, 1 large onion, 1 bell pepper, 2 jalapeno peppers, 1 poblano pepper and cilantro.
2. The initial "do it yourself" kit I bought pictured here with the veg and vinegar. I ended up taking this kit back because it was pretty much entirely unesscessary.
3. Four pint jars of completed salsa, cooling.
4. Adventures in canning, part two. Pickled green beans.
5. Why is boiling water so fun to take pictures of?
