Down and Back Up Again!
Heh. Went through my teacher interview already.
In that blog post that got eaten by LJ yesterday, I wanted to mention how I felt so terrible because I'm not confident in my writing skills. Because yes, I think they suck, and I know I need loads more improvement, but I still want to get that novel published by the end of this year! I know I wouldn't have any trouble finding publishers where I'm from because they're happy enough to get more local writers to publish something. (Just so you know, I have a short story that's about to be published in a book by next year. It's about a taxi driver and my country. :D I would probably have no problem getting them to publish my book.. I think.)
But after reading some rants by
limyaael, I got motivated again and actually got my muse in Baby1 to get running. I only wrote about a few hundred words though, and from my Word.doc I retyped it here, and edited a few lines to near perfection. (Okay, I'm exaggerating, but I'm known for that. Just ask Scorpteen. She'd tell you that I'm also a Drama Queen.) Too bad LJ ate that one wonderful paragraph up, and yes, I am never good at rewrites, because it never turns out the way it was before. And thus, not as nice. (In fact, I wrote a few paragraphs on Ashley, Erin and Aaron as well, while I doodled on that paper during the interview, which got handed up. Gah. Now I can't get that back as well!)
Hmmm, now I'm gonna go all out to write and actually complete Baby1, sucky or no sucky writing. Because I can! I am so gonna show that woman I rock! Hell yeah! (For more information, please read about my horrid interview. It's only one line which explains this, but I'm all for self-promoting my other personal blog. ;D)
Will post up the exercise that I've done once I complete the other few questions. Tata!
P/S: I just thought of a site that I posted all my original short stories in. I'd probably dig them up and edit them just so you guys can read them and tell me what you think. In fact, I'd probably post them to this NaNo site as well, just to see if it's good enough for any publication. If you want to see the unedited version, and probably terribly sucky version (Since I wrote them a few years back, and the last being last year earlier this year.) this is the link. Yeap. If you do read it there though, do tell me what I can do to improve them even further. I'd be really glad and I don't mind criticism. :D

But what is their purpose?
What is your purpose? What would you have done that would have made such an impact on the world? What is it about your existence that makes such a profound difference to the world we live in? Do people sit up and take notice just because you're there? Humans just live as they do. They do what is right by the society and they just live. They go to school, they work, they get married, and they die. It is that simple. Then what of faeries? Faeries have only to live and love and play and die. They merely do as they please, and they live. That is all to them. And there is nothing else.
