The long weekend is when I'm having a mass party/bbq at mine with Swine playing in the backyard so the entire weekend is out for me!

I am not putting any cash into it besides alcohol...All of the boys in the band are good friends of mine and they are doing it for free (or basically beer) and that's it...I have powerpoints, they have the equipment...The end!

i was thinking more along the lines of a PA system... you know: speakers, subs, microphones, PA amp, mixing desk... oh, and a person to mix. that shit ain't cheap to hire.

it's something bands don't usually have, as venues supply all that kinda stuff. i'd ask the band that they have all of that shit covered before you get too excited.

They have covered it cause I already asked if they have everything they need...The guy that is recording their album is mixing and has a desk...And it's only a backyard party...I mean it's not a 'gig'...It's our friends and we be just getting drunk!
