(^Thank you for that, Mitchell.)
So a few things have happened to me over the past week and I'd just like to tell you all about them because I know you care.
On Thursday, I was off of school for Rosh Hashanah so my grandma took me to the mall to go clothes shopping. (bleh.) It wasn't that bad, though; I got some jeans. :P
I finished eating lunch before everyone else, so I asked my dad if I could go to the bookstore. He gave me permission, and I was on my merry way.
The reason I had wanted to go to the bookstore was because last week John Green tweeted that this (

Inspired by this, I decided I should leave my own notes in John's books. So, Wednesday night, I wrote out my messages on Post-its and stuck them in my not-purse for the next day.
I made two individual notes for Twilight; the first said "Yo, Twilighter, I'm really happy for you, and Imma let you finish, but Paper Towns is one of the best books of all time. OF ALL TIME." And the second, posted on the next page, said, "We apologize for Kanye West's rude interruption of your reading of crappy teen romance Twilight. However, to further prevent this problem, we suggest you buy Paper Towns. Best Wishes! Nerdfighteria."
I did 4 others, one for each book. One was in a Question Tuesday format, another starting off with "Good morning, Hank!", and another starting off with "Hi, hello, this is not Mitchell Davis!"
So, with my pre-prepared notes, I went to Borders and stopped first at the Twilight section.
Now because it's Twilight, it has to have its own huge display directly in front of the counter and in full view of everything. I did my best to be inconspicuous; I picked up a copy and leafed through it, trying to make sure it looked like I was considering buying it. (paha, as if.) I quickly stuck in my Post-its, reshelved the book, and strode over to the YA section around the corner.
There were a few other people there, so I browsed CDs until they left. I got a huge rush thinking of a future nerdfighter finding my note; this was so exciting! I decided I'd do Paper Towns first, since that was where Hank originally told everone to put them.
I open up the book, and flip through to find a good place to stick it when...
I see there is another note inside.
Ho. Lee. Shit. was my first thought. My second thought was There are nerdfighters in my area! I am not alone! This is so cool! An afterthought of mine was Aw, man, somebody already beat me to it! but that voice was kind of drowned out by the others screaming OH MY GOD OH MY GOD OH MY GOD.
I was so ecstatic that I pulled out my phone and took photos.

After mentally happy dancing for a good five minutes, I decided I'd still put in my note along with Mysterious Nerdfighter Girl's because whomever buys it will feel doubley awesome.
Next, I went to Will Grayson, Will Grayson, and guess what I found?
Yep. Another note. Also from Mysterious Nerdfighter Girl. There were actually two notes in this one, but my camera's memory was full, and I didn't want to attract too much attention to myself, l-lol.
There were actually notes in all of the John Green books they had, all by Mysterious Nerdfighter Girl, all written on the same paper. She had only put one note per book, so I stuck mine in the extra copies. ^_^
I told my parents about it, and my mom thinks it was probably someone who works there. Which is probable, considering that whomever left them likes books and people who work at Boreders are generally not against literature.
Larissa said that she got Paper Towns from our school library, and she's going to check to see if there's a note in that copy.
Either way, she and I are going to try to find Mysterious Nerdfighter Girl. SOMEHOW, SOMEWAY, WE SHALL ACCOMPLISH. -triumphant pose-
