These cravings change like each day! This week though, my craving came from eating at Panera on Saturday. My friend picked off her tomatoes and had them sitting on the edge of her plate. I wanted to snatch them so badly but she had stuck her receipt on top of them. Just a little too icky. But since then I've wanted to eat tomatoes! I finally caved and bought one and then ate the whole thing about 5 min. after I came home. haha! I cut it up in thick slices and then made a whole wheat, bologna, real cheddar, light mayo, thick sliced tomato sandwich. The other half the tomato I ate as chips. :D SOOOO yummy!
Today the cravings are tomatoes and cucumbers, yesterday it was mashed potatoes. It's usually anything potatoes, green beans, wheat toast with real butter, meat sandwiches with real cheddar and mayo, anything beans, chili con queso, orange juice, etc etc. I could go on. I NEVER had cravings like these with the first two. I craved like 2 foods each and pretty much ate them every day the whole pregnancy. I swear this child is gonna be a foodie or a very large baby (probably a boy that will eat me out of house and home)! I can probably count on this child NOT being picky! PLEASE OH PLEASE!
Dinner with my kids is SUCH a chore. They are both picky, but Xan is the worst ever! I finally had to switch their seating positions because Kriss won't "work" with them and force them to eat. So Xan sits next to me and is finally eating (after 4 years) but it's so painstakingly. It takes about 2 freaking hours sometimes. Alison will probably start to slack, but I don't have to be on top of her about it as bad as Xan. I would love to be able to nip this bad habit of theirs before baby but I seriously doubt it. It's gonna be a life time struggle. I'll tell you this, it's definitely letting me practice my patience, but it's not so great on the blood pressure. Some days I wanna scream and pull my hair out.
