Dear Trick Or Treat Exchange Author
Because why not when I'm on a signup roll? :) trickortreatex is "low stress" multifandom exchange with a fic minimum of 300 words, for short happy treats or monster or horror-themed 'trick' ficlets. I requested only fic because I struggle with art prompts, but anyone willing to treat art for these fandoms would be appreciated!
Anyway, HELLO TRICK OR TREAT AUTHOR, thank you so much for signing up and being willing to gift me something. :) This is mostly just a repeat of the signup details you already received with some general likes/DNWs thrown in.
General likes: pre-canon (including childhood) backstories, unlikely interactions & friendships, conversation games/drinking games, robots (and humans) trying to understand feelings, seasonal/autumn themes, hugs, hurt/comfort, nightmares, (for kinkfic:) playfulness, bondage, touching scars/blemishes, orgasm delay/denial, dubcon (e.g. from coercion or magical means, character has some desire and/or agency)
DNW: modern/mundane AU, M/f or F/f noncon, character bashing
Happy endings not necessary, but would be preferred for lighter fandoms (Community & SU)
I realize this is an OR exchange when it comes to character matching, so while I mentioned specific ships and dynamics I'm open to whatever for characters individually! I basically just requested All My Faves who I'd be happy to get any sort of fic centered on.

10 Cloverfield Lane
Emmet DeWitt, Michelle
Treat -- I love the little lull in this movie between the initial paranoia and the eventual realization Howard actually was a threat, when Michelle sort of accepted her post-apocalyptic circumstances and things became almost found-family-esque. Maybe something with her and Emmett bonding in the bunker, passing the time and normalizing their situation and comforting each other about stuff they miss in the world.
Trick -- Michelle vs. the aliens/monsters/Whatever The Hell is out there! Can be a fix-it where Emmett got out too, or just her alone in survival mode.
The 100
Bellamy Blake, Jasper Jordan, John Murphy, Emori, Monty Green, Raven Reyes
Treat -- Just give me a moment of peace for these kids, any season. (But would prefer canon-verse and not AU.) I ship Murphy/Emori & Bellamy/Murphy, so I'd def. enjoy something fluffy or sexy with either of them or even an OT3 - but if that doesn't float your boat, solo happiness for ANY of them would be appreciated (god do they need it). Or: Monty & Jasper growing up pre-series or healing post-S3. I'm also into the idea of less-likely characters interacting, Emori & Raven, Raven & Monty, Murphy & Jasper, etc.! Basically anything 'treat'-like with one or a combination of these characters is good. :)
Trick -- I almost DON'T EVEN WANNA but my alternative to "please make them happy" is like, something that deals with the artificial City of Light happiness and the creepy soul-sucking undercurrents of it, 'cause I was left weirdly wanting *more* exploration of that and the way it affected people. (For the chars it canonically happened to, or canon-divergent AU for the others.) I could also take pure whumpage and bad things (Grounders, Mount Weather) happening to any character BUT Raven, as I have seen her get tortured Enough in this lifetime.
Battlestar Galactica
Caprica Six, Gaius Baltar, Kara "Starbuck" Thrace, Karl "Helo" Agathon, Leoben Conoy, Saul Tigh
Treat -- I cannot stress enough that Baltar/Caprica Six doing LITERALLY ANYTHING would be a treat for me. From pre-series when they're sophisticated & dating and don't want to deal with how hard they're falling for each other, to the end when they're broken but together and they'll be farmers and probably adopt a bunch of kids. I would also love more Kara & Helo friendship, being drinking buddies, having adventures. Something fun and cracky with the Cylons (e.g. Six trying to improve Leoben's fashion style). Maybe a Colonial/Cylon version of Halloween involving costumes, Tigh being grouchy about it. :D
Trick -- I mean the whole Kara/Leoben relationship is a walking opportunity for something horror-oriented, feel free to go nuts with that! I'm also gonna go against my usual "no AU" rule and say I wouldn't mind seeing these characters in another kind of apocalypse, e.g. zombies, Cylons as vampires, haunted by actual ghosts and not head-angels, etc. Idk, I'm really open to just any more fic in this fandom.
Community (TV)
Abed Nadir, Annie Edison, Britta Perry, Troy Barnes
Troy & Abed! Troy, Abed & Annie OT3! Annie & Britta! This one is REALLY open-ended, I just want something fun with them. This is a great fandom for any kind of genre-bending, supernatural hijinks affecting Greendale. Would prefer something friendshippy over romantic with any combination of these characters. (And while they're my faves, others from the study group *cough Shirley!* can make an appearance too.)
Ex Machina (2015)
Ava, Caleb Smith, Kyoko, Nathan Bateman
Treat -- I'm always down for a fix-it where Kyoko survives along with Ava. (Not necessarily in a femslash way.) How do one or both of them engage with the human world? What likes do they discover? Alternately, would not turn down some outright Caleb/Nathan slash with drunk, dominant!Nathan.
...and because of the fandom I think pretty much those same prompts could easily go dark and fall under Trick. Do they become black-widow types preying on unsuspecting humans? What about Caleb stuck in the house with an undead revived-Nathan?
(Note: I can deal with Caleb/Nathan (manipulative/dubcon on either side okay, not hard noncon), Ava/Kyoko, even Ava/Caleb if it's done in a not-too-fluffy and Ava in control way. DNW Nathan with either robot girls.)
Star Wars Episode VII: The Force Awakens
Finn, Han Solo, Leia Organa, Rey
Treat -- I lowkey ship Finn/Rey but that's not up your alley, feel free to make something friendshippy between them instead. I'd love to see either/both of them having fun or being awed by a part of the galaxy they'd never seen before after years of being stuck in one miserable place. Would also enjoy a fix-it for Han/Leia or some bittersweet happier time for them before TFA. Or to mix it up, some more interaction between Han Solo and Finn, Leia and Rey, or Han basically Adopting Rey.
Trick -- This movie's got a canon tentacle monster, the existence of Force ghosts from the afterlife, and a whole host of other weird stuff is probably out there too. What if Rey felt the pull of the Dark Side? Or Leia? I'm also really into the fact that both Finn and Han are ultimately heroic, but they also have a super strong instinct toward self-preservation and I'd be interested in something specifically about (either of) them overcoming that or in a darker what-if, failing to and having to live with that.
Steven Universe
Connie Maheswaran, Garnet, Lapis Lazuli, Pearl, Peridot, Steven Universe
Treat -- This show is just my happy place and all the characters here are my faves. Would love to see more of Nerd!Pearl trying to relax and have fun, Garnet and/or Pearl being off-beat but loving moms to tiny!Steven, Steven & Connie in a platonic or puppy-love way, Lapis being comforted, Peridot being... Peridot. :) (The two of them together is great too.)
Trick -- Can still be hopeful and happy-leaning, just with some kind of lurking danger they need to stop/fight. Or maybe a 'ghost story' style where one character is trying to scare another one. I like the idea of something that infects/changes other Gems, turns friends-to-enemies, that sort of thing. I would prefer nothing TOO dark for this fandom (as in graphically violent or gory, character death) but feel free to explore the sadder/harsher elements of the series and some of these characters.
