An Unhappy Update
Hi all,
Remember me? I used to be on here a lot and then abandoned you all for Tumblr and Twitter. Unfortunately, I'm only updating to tell you all some unhappy news. My mom was diagnosed about a month ago with pancreatic cancer. A week ago, an MRI revealed that her cancer had spread to her liver and lung, metastasizing faster than we could have imagined. As of today, her oncologist gave her less than three months to live.
I am in shock and in pain and at a loss. If any of you have any advice or stories to help me through this incredibly difficult time for me and my family, I would greatly appreciate it.
