If happy little bluebirds fly beyond the rainbow why, oh why, can't I?
Goodness gracious. I had to deal with seven 4 year olds by myself tonight, at Awana. Tia Dawn and MaryAnn were all not able to come tonight and to top it all off they didn't leave me a key to the closet that has all the stuff I need to teach. So I improvised. We colored for a little while, and then it was game time and I had a girl named stephanie help out a little. She put out the snack and she sat wtih them whilst I figured out what story I was going to do and how I was going to manage a story with no storybook. Let me tell you, 4 year olds need pictures. I ended up with a felt board even though I really hate using those things. It all worked out in the end but gee golly am I exhausted.
