Diet disaster and catching up with old friends....
It's not going at all well...
After the big valentines food extravaganza on Saturday night, I blew it yet again today at lunchtime as our biology team went out for a nice lunch at the Woodman in Clyne. Yes, Chocolate Fudge Cake was involved....
I think I'm going to have a week off, I've got too much social life this week, birthday curry with Becky, one of my friends I don't see nearly often enough on Thurs, on Friday Ian cooks for me before camera club, and i'm off to Cardiff on Saturday to see Tracey, yet another old friend I haven't seen enough of lately, probably for shopping and more eating! It's amazing how I'm seeing more of my old friends again lately, quite a few drifted away because they couldn't cope with bizarre ex Gwion, but they seem to be drifting back again :o) The timing is bad though, I'm a bit on the skint side for all this, but nevermind!
Am also looking forward to David Attenborough on Weds night, they're showing the salmon run in Canada that and I are going to see in September, almost certainly with fishing bears and sea eagles! Can't wait!
Also looking forward to Boscombe Down as well, and catching up with more people after not managing Bexley. I didn't do Bozzy last year so it seems ages since the last "show with a pub"!
All in all I'm an unusually happy bunny at the moment...wonder how long it'll last?
