Lovely weekend!!
Oops, I haven't posted in a while!!
Just had my mum and Derek (her OH)over for a long weekend, plus Ian as he's been back for the week as his mum is really good at the moment (yay!). We managed to have a great time despite the weather not trying as hard as it could. We've been visiting castles, and went to New Quay (Ceredigion, not Cornwall, as that would have been a bit of a trek!) and saw a wild dolphin and her baby playing in the harbour (squeee!). We had some nice meals out, did a bit of shopping in Llandeilo, and just lots of generally nice things! Also managed to see Mamma Mia finally!
My 4 chickens arrived on Friday, and they're lovely friendly girls, and are laying already!! One of my hens, Ginger, lays every day, and lays tiny little brown eggs the size of Cadburys Creme eggs, bless her. They're really tame already, and come running out to see me, and two actually seem to like being picked up and cuddled.
Ratties are all doing well, my two boys who came back to me have a new home at Jo Pierres, so they'll be off on Saturday. am just working out who to enter at the moment!!
Anyway, off to check that the hens are sleeping in the right place! lol
