Nice weekend!

Finally a non-moany post from me for a change! :)

I had a fab day yesterday on the much awaited Bird Photography Course....got some excellent advice, fab shots, and had an all round great day with like minded people :D The tutor was fab....his own pics are amazing, and like me he was a naturalist first and the photography came later, in fact he's only really done wildlife photography for about 4 years and is now making a comfortable living out of it, so you never know!! I've signed up for his folio day at the end of April so he can have a look at some of the stuff I've done so far and give me advice on how to improve :o)  He was pretty impressed with the ones I showed hin on the day on the camera, so maybe I'm not as crap as I think I am!

Today Ian and I had a chilled time...we had a lie in, and then went to Dryslwyn where we failed to see any tree sparrows, but nevermind! Got to keep persevering. We then went to the new farm shop and attached restaurant which opened a couple of months ago on the edge of the village, and had fab carvery and bought nice local cheese and yoghurt. We then went back home via Farm supply shop to get a live trap to attempt to relocate the naughty wild rat that is having a party in my garage and nicking the hens food, so it's now baited and ready with the tempting lure of a choccy hob nob.

Angharad has still not managed to come into season on any of the evenings I've been in this week...much to poor Jakeys frustration, luckily I have 3 nights at home in a row now so I'm bound to catch her so the poor lad can have his wicked way!

Am now chilling with a glass of Merlot. :o)
