The school nurse is stupid. Seriously.
I woke up this morning with a really heavy, sore and congested head, but I decided I should go to school any way. WHY? I don't know. I took some drugs and felt better, BUT
My head was KILING ME through maths, yeah? So I decide to go to the nurse at the start of science to like lie down and i dunno sleep or something. The nurse isn't there, so I wait, sitting on this chair, but my head was still really hurting so I just thought bugger it I'm lying down and went into the sick room to lie on the strange pink bed. The nurse comes in after I've been there for about 20 minutes and I'm all '...hello', then she gave me an ice pack for my head. Still felt like crap, kept falling asleep. Now you'd think that if a person *was* asleep in the sick room, someone would wake them up whe the siren went, right? WRONG. Some random woman comes in and is all 'have you been forgotten about' and i'm all '...no?' then I check the only available timepiece (my phone) and look at that, it's 3:20. So I'm like '...shit'. I'd organised a lift home with rachel, but ai knew she would have left by then, and mum wasn't going to leave work til 5:30. SO I go into the nurse's office and she's all '...heh heh i forgot' and i'm all 'WHYYYYY *angsts*' so she called my mum and mum only got there to pick me up and 4:30. Life sucks, and the nurse is an idiot.
I finally get home, and I fully intend to call my minions to make them not come, but I 'lay down for a while' listening to ABC radio and fell asleep or whatever til the first minion comes, and i couldn't very well just make her go home. So she starts playing, and somehow CAN'T READ THE MUSIC. It's like DUDE YOU'VE BEEN LEARNING FOR A YEAR. IT'S AN E FOR GODS SAKE I GAVE YOU TWO SETS OF FLASH CARDS. And I suddenly sympathised a lot with Miss Taylor. Anyhoo I got my bitch on and made her identify notes for half an hour. HAH. Second minion came and I'm just all '...play everything from the start of the book, I'm going to lie down on this ere bean bag.' It's strange how well I can teach a lesson on the floor with my eyes closed. I know all the pieces so well I can identify mistakes and what they are. Second minion was a lot nicer, but she kept yapping on about camp, so i just pretended to listen and fell asleep again.
Minions leave. Nicola goes back to bed. And sleeps. For an hour. Head hurts slightly less, so I go have a showerm, and notice and my complexion looks really good (?). And then I came on the computer to complain about my day.
LESSON NICOLA LEARNED TODAY- Next time I wake up and feel like I shouldn't go to school, I really shouldn't go to school.
