happy 3 year anniversary!!
So.... he poped the question... asked me to marry him :)
Yeah that's the one I saw in a window way back in March and said I liked... I posted a pic of it on here... well apparently he bought it in March and has been holding on to it!!!!!!!!
It still hasn't completly sunk in yet. I feel weird saying "nathan asked me to marry him". It feels weird yet right at the same time. I dunno. I feel like I'm getting old or something. haha
So I guess ppl like to know how it happend or something... lol
Well he got here yesterday around 4. And I had been begging him all day if we could exchange gifts. And he kept saying "no not yet". And then this morning I asked again and he said "no not till before we leave for dinner or so". So we checked into the Sea Turtle Inn on Atlantic Beach. Very nice hotel. And our room has a beach view. :)
So after we got to our room he asked if I wanted to go explore and walk on the beach. So we did all bundled up in our jackets cause it was windy and chilly. And we sat down on this wall of sand that made a ledge from where the high tide came up to. And we were just talking. And he asked me if I wanted my present. Of course I said yes. And he pulled the ring box out of his pocket. And there it was the ring I feel in love with 8 months ago. I was completly shocked and just huged him before he could even ask. haha. Of course I said yes.
I had NO idea he was even thinking about asking. It's just crazy.
I kinda blew it though. Earlier this week he asked me if I wanted to go to cheese cake factory for dinner. I was like "eh I dunno we go there ALL the time" "yeah but it's our restaraunt" "i know... i'd like to go somewhere we've never been" "ok that's fine"
Well turns out he called CCF this week and talked to the manager and was going to drop the ring off early with them and we would eat and they would bring us our cheese cake at the end w/ the ring on top.
yeah ok i suck i admit it!
But yeah he even called my dad up a few weeks ago and asked if they could get together some time. And they did him my mom and dad and Nathan asked if it would be ok if he asked if he could marry me. My mom gave him a little bit of crap about "wont she be stressed durring school with a ring on her finger?" Go figure my mom is the one that gives him crap and not my dad. lol
So I called my parents tonight and talked to them. And my mom goes "when do I get grandchildren" I laughed... told her in 10 years or so... she said that was too logn.... haha OH WELL!
I have yet to be able to show anyone yet :( I've sent a few pic messages to people. But that's about it.
Oh yeah so I guess you want the date.... it will probably be either Nov 2007 or March 2008. Depends whether I graduate summer or fall of 2007. *fingers crossed for summer*
