So! I've submitted the form for My panel for Tekkoshocon. I'll be doing it on the Sunday of the con, and have decided on "J-drama Review 2008". Right now, I'm looking at an hour time slot, possibly two if they need the space taken

I think one of the interesting things for me for doramas in 2008 is that the one drama I had anticipated and dreaded (because of the so short a notice kind of feeling) was CHANGE. When I heard the premise I was like WTF? But it definitely won me over from the second ep onwards and got me captivated. Other doramas I had a much better feeling about let me down however. Like Code Blue, Hachimitsu to Clover and Gokusen3 (why they don't call it just Yankumi + various Johnny Juniors is beyond me).
Anyway, back to your questions: Which shows got poor ratings when they deserved the best? Maou, because even though it was not better than its Korean original, watching Ikuta Toma in a main non-comedic role was a treat. Additionally, Around 40 was a solid show with good actors and witty screenplay.
Which shows had the most "cap-able" sceens, or the scenes that you had to watch over and over again? Bara No Nai Hanaya - Shingo's Aishiteru in the final ep *swoon*
Which shows do you wish you had/hadn't taken the time for? Osen oh so disillusioned me. It started out well but somewhere between ep 3 and 4 they lost me. And the ending was not satisfactory at all. I wish I had taken tie to start watching Atsu-hime, but I didn't because it is a costume series.
Which shows do you think I'd be remiss in skipping? Bara no nai hanaya, Change, Maou and Around 40
