Do y’know how disappointing it is to finally be done with a huge mess back home only to find out you’re not dead but you still hurt like hell and you’ve woken up on some rust bucket? The Admiral runs it. The wardens each watch over an inmate - someone who they are supposed to rehabilitate or redeem in some manner.

I don't think it can be explained properly in too concise a fashion although I do not mind talking about it.

On my side of the story I was trying to bring people out of hiding, merge societies together and create peace. However, in attempting this I had much opposition and so had to take some extreme measures, which is the part that history now remembers me for.

You could say that. And nothing has changed.

But I'm sure if you ask others here - some of which are from my world - they will tell you they like it the way that it is, no matter how stifling or old-fashioned the laws are there.
