moar supplies
Bought ANOTHER $300 worth of art supplies today. This time for my intro painting class. Oil paints, brushes, gesso, and all kinds of stuff. Even canvas. I have to go to Home Depot or Lowe's for the masonite (fancy name for compressed wood chip slabs that are now "wood") and pine, because we're making our own canvases. But I got a $30 canvas puller tool thingie at Michael's to help myself out, because we all know how awesomely strong I am. :P /sarcasm
I think someone will die instantaneously when they see my $600+ art supply bills. Voc Rehab is reimbursing me (well, mom, but in my name). Then again, I am their most expensive client. They've never had an art student before me. They allotted $600 for books, instead of the usual $400, and $40 for supplies, instead of the usual $30. Yay for budget increases! I just need one book, so if they switch those amounts around, they should be fine.
I'm supposed to be signing papers to start the allotting of a new lappy, too. My old laptop is about 5 years old now. I just got a desktop, though. Wow. o_o The guy that evaluated me probably wants me to have a lighter one, since the one that's almost dead is about 10 pounds.
