Bunny pencils, posters, and water stained letters
I've been on this kick to try to downsize Nick and my belongings. We're going to move to a smaller apartment after our lease is up and we need to get rid of some of our junk. We currently live in a 1400 sq ft apartment, which is a bit extravagant for our needs. By moving to a smaller apartment for a year, Nick and I will be able to take some of the extra money we're saving to use on a down payment for a house or for outstanding bills.
So I talked to Nick today about our random collections of stuff that we don't need or use. We were both on a cleaning kick for the last couple of hours and cleaned out a closet. We're going to donate a bunch of stuff to Salvation Army or Purple heart.
I came upon my chest of letters and postcards from friends, past friends, and ex-boyfriends. I don't know how I feel about getting rid of the letters and such because it reminds me of where I've been. I'm not sure if I'm being sentimental or silly. I wonder if other people save things like this.
