home sweet home
I went to Adelaide! Left Perth on Thursday night and arrived in Adelaide via Melbourne (I know, it makes no sense...) Adelaide is slightly more backward than Perth but having said that, I actually found Keds in the first shoe store I looked in!
I got the cherry and the pineapple ones - couldn't resist...
Mum and I explored Rundle Mall on Friday, including the bronzed pigs and the mall balls!
Just to prove I went to Adelaide...
Took a trip out to AAMI Stadium on Saturday - some sort of football match between Freo and the Adelaide Crows (word of advice - the 'Footy Express' bus isn't very express!) We lost by 30 points which was slightly bitter but we've got a second chance Friday night against Melbourne (got my tickets today!)

Me and my mum in Crows territory (and I thought Eagles supporters were bad...)
Had a quiet night in, eating Nandos for tea and watching the Eagles lose to the Swans by a point. Sunday we took the tram to Glenelg, had a late breakfast and explored for a bit before returning to the city.

Flew out this morning, complete with a stopover in Melbourne (not out of the way, no...) and am now home. Was a lovely mini break but I'll be back in Adelaide come February 2007...
