Random, but I just noticed that all (unless I'm forgetting someone?) of the assimilated Kryptonians on Earth have names that start with a [k] (the sound that is, not the letter). Clark, Kara, Conner, Chris, and Kristin. Just a weird coincidence I thought I'd share...
