I booked my flights!!!
Woohoo! I will be in the lovely USA from 24th July-21st August and I am already very very excited! Here's how our trip is looking:
July 24th: Fly from Manchester to Boston
July 30th: Fly to Chicago
Aug 5th: Fly to San Fran
5th onwards: Greyhound from SF to Seattle via Portland, then some time in Vancouver
Aug 21st: Fly from Vancouver to Manchester
I am so happy that me and Kate didn't just talk about this and are actually doing it! I am excited to travel with Kate also: we have known each other since we were 2 years old, and apart from the obligatory week long hol to Faliraki when we were 18, we have never travelled together so it should be great! I am (obviously) most excited to hit Seattle and hopefully convey to Kate how amazing it is and why I talk about it ALL the time! I also want take Kate out to camp one day to show her where it is. Kate worked at a camp in 05 aswell and she 'gets camp'. But I do want to show her HOW different it is from the 'rich kid' camp she worked at which had electricity and everything!
So if you want to catch up when I'm on your continent just let me know-chances are I'll wanna see you!!!
