Post Valentines....
Now, it truly amazes what kind of white trash will go to the Olive Garden to celebrate Valentine's Day. We were honestly on a wait from when I walked in the door at 11:30, until I left at 5:30. I basically killed myself trying to keep up with the madness. And the worse part about it is that I didn't make shit for money. I did about $550 in sales (an average lunch is about $250), I had a guest average of 14 tables (average is about 8) and I didn't recieve higher then 10% tip on ANY of my checks! Burbank truly sucks when it comes to tipping. May I use this forum to say, the world must consist of no less then 20% tipping average for servers!!! Folks...servers only make minimum wage, not to mention we get taxed on our tips as well (the computers are very smart now, they know how much we are getting)...so when it comes down to it, our tips are our only source of income. The next time you go out to eat, put an extra buck down or 2....it won't kill you to be nice.....oh yeah, and remember, not that I would ever do it, but we do have the power to spit in your food. Just remember that....

After my wonderful shift at Olive Garden, I took my frustrations out at the gym. It was a wonderful work out with my good friend Ellen. I think the both of us are making some real committed progress. We have been going 6 days a week....and really break a nice sweat. All those in the Los Angeles area, feel free to join us anytime. The workout is at Bally's Total Fitness in Studio City. Oh yeah, and I've become friends with the General Manager there...so if you want a deal on a membership, I can probably work something out. Not to mention, I will recieve another 10 free years when you join! :)
Alright, time to begin my weekend....lets hope it's one filled with lots of laughter.....
