Wow...this had to be one of the greatest birthdays in a very long time...all thanks to Andrew and Sarita. They threw me an amazing birthday celebration in the form of a Fry-b-que on Saturday.....which was so much fun. I really don't have to write about it....because most everyone who is reading this was probably there. But I will list the high points, Andrew and Drew cooked up the best Fried Turkey in history....all my closest friends took the time out of their busy Saturday to come and play.....and Ashley Drane graced the party with the world's most unsung secrets....fried pickles. You are probably thinking gross....but oh, you are so wrong! They are strangely delicious. That night after the party...a group of us tried out the new Karaoke bar Sardos in Burbank. Thought it was pretty cool....but wasn't quite hooked yet. On Sunday night, we had our typical Sunday night at Dimples, and at about 10:30...someone made the comment that Dimples sucked, and we should head over to Sardos....so that we did. And the rest is history....Sardos has a better sound system, better song selection, nicer staff, better atmosphere......just all around rocks. Even the owner was nice and not slimmy like Sal. I think we all went with the intention of only staying a short time there...and ended up closing the place down at 2:00am. I had one of the best nights since moving to Los Angeles. We all sang, danced and felt completely at home. So I can truly say, "Farewell Dimples.....you've had a very special place in my heart for the past 15 months...but I shall spend my remaining time in LA at my NEW home!"

I made a lot of progress this weekend with my plans for the move....but I also keep seeing I have the most amazing group of friends here and I'm going to miss them terribly when I'm gone. So what does that mean? It means I'm going to be spending lots of money on plane tickets to come back and visit often.
