(no subject)
wow, it's been soo long since i last updated! i'm getting so lazy.. but that's nothing new. spring break has been over for a week now, and i feel like i'm still on it (then again, i think i always feel like i'm on break lol) it was a pretty relaxing break though, i didn't go anywhere.. it started off on saturday. i went out to lunch with jess & jill to american grill and had a yummy turkey club (and to jess's disappointment, i got some floppy chips and she didn't!)and then i dropped them both off at their houses, i went home and packed a bag and went to jess's cuz we were sleepin over there. it was so much fun.. we had pizza and we were gonna go rent some movies but it suddenly started snowing.. kinda odd! we played mario party and jess kicked our butts of course! even though she claims she doesn't play it all the time, we don't believe her! hmm.. what else did we do.. oh we were online doing a bunch of quizzies at emode.com.. they're so funny! we played cards in jess's room for a while (apparently jess doesn't remember how to play go fish lol), ate ice (lmao don't think i'm weird, i like chewing on ice!) and i have to tell you guys, i get scared so easily sometimes.. just like when my mom comes in this room and i don't know it, i'll like jump a mile or something. so jess goes downstairs to get some more water and i asked her if she'd fill mine too and jill and i are talking and suddenly she's like julie.. so i thought she was gonna tell me something, and then she said it again and (i was lying down on jess's bed) i turn and jess is holding the glass right above me, so now it's right in my face.. i screamed and ice went flying everywhere! so yah after that we played more mario party for a while, then ended up going to sleep around 12 or 1. when we woke up in the morning (jess woke me up at 9ish..grr) we decided it'd be nice for a little walk. we walked up the street to walgreens and then decided to walk to dominicks and that shopping center (and for those of u who don't live here, that's a looooong walk) i was so tired when we finally got back.. but alot of good exercise. so then we sat around for another hour or so, playin mario party AGAIN and then jill & i went home. the rest of the day i really didn't do much of anything. monday.. hmm.. i don't remember! tuesday, my dad took the computer in so i wouldn't have it for a couple days, he got it upgraded to XP (which, btw, is GREAT.) tuesday i also went shoppin with my mom, but didn't really find anything. tuesday night, i went over to jess's and watched american idol, then wednesday i went riding with mindy.. phew, that was tiring too lol. wednesday night i watched american idol again, and i was soo happy that god bless the USA is gonna be a single, and nobody got voted off cuz of stupid corey getting disqualified (haha!) then on thursday, my mom & i went to this fair thingy at some community college for health majors, i looked at physical therapy and figured out that i can't do it.. the classes aren't for me! lol so i gotta look at something else. i didn't do much of anything for the rest of the day on thursday, friday either.. saturday i started work on my project since i finally got the computer back (i needed it to make a slide show.) i worked on it on sunday too.. then it was back to school! yuck...
this week [4/7-4/13] has gone kinda quick, which is good! monday, i was so nervous about my presentation, and we didn't even get to go of course.. monday was kinda interesting though. on the bus ride to school, since it snowed (go figure!) some kids were talking about what would happen if the ocean froze, and i'm just sitting there like..who the hell thinks about that?! some other things happened but i don't remember because it was a while ago.. lol, anyways on tuesday, i figured i had to be doing my presentation on that day, but still no, she gave us time to work on six weeks projects instead! that day was jess's birthday, so later that night i went over to her house for pizza and american idol (919 BEATS 205 RUBEN!!) and then on wednesday i was pretty sure that that day was the day, but i had to wait some more, beacuse it was the senior pic so i was a little late to class and we didn't have time for many. on wednesday night was american idol *cries* rickey got voted off!! america doesn't know what they're doing! so thursday i knew i was definately doing the presentation, we went first and i was a little nervous, but my partner started off and he was forgetting everything.. he didn't seem to know at all what he was doing.. gotta love people like that! so then when it was my turn to speak, it was like every time i'd go to say something, my teacher would interrupt and explain to the class the next thing i was going to say, it was frustrating. then at the end, i was gonna show the slideshow that i made, and of course it doesn't open.. so hopefully she (my teacher) looked at it after class. then during 7th, sondra and i were thinking of as many funny movies as we could and thought of every funny part in each of those movies.. it was fun. thursday night, i went to get my hair highlighted! i did it a carmel color.. i loooove it so much, i've been waiting so long! friday, nothing really happened.. government was fun, my teacher, i don't know what was going on with him, but he was so hyper! he was telling jokes that weren't even funny, and laughing at himself.. he was singing 50 cent, and then he's like do you guys have any change? i have 50 cents! *shakes head* then on friday night, jess & i went to showcase, then saturday we had contest for band.. it went pretty well, we didn't get straight ones (missed it by one point) but we got a division I anyways. the contest was at waukegan high school, and that place definately scares me.. lol it's way too strange, it's like the ghetto! that took all day, i got home around 5:15, and jess & erin wanted me and jess to come out to eat with them, i couldn't get a hold of jess tho, so erin, jess & i went across the street from my house to giordono's for some yummy pizza. after that, we stopped for ice cream at culvers. we arrived at school and locked jess out of the car, it was quite amusing.. especially because she had the keys and she was just standing outside looking at us so pitifully. showcase overall, both nights, was AWESOME. sunday, i really didn't do much of anything.. my parents went to see the american english (beatles cover band) so i had the house to myself for a few hours.
[4/14-4/19] i don't remember much of what happened this week [last week] it was the end of the grading period, so i was probably caught up in work.. wow it really seems like one big blur.. american idol was fun. ryan announced that there was a list from US weekly of the hottest people, and spongebob was higher on the list than simon.. haha! ;) it was billy joel week, and i loved all the songs! on wednesday, we went over to my aunt & uncle's for passover.. lots of yummy food! we didn't have any school on friday [good friday] and i had a dentist appointment in the morning [yuck!] and then mindy, sarah & i went out to lunch at red robin and i had a yummy turkey sandwich.. we went & got ice cream at maggie moo's afterwards [strawberry ice cream with snow caps mixed in..mmmm] and then sarah had to go home, and she felt so bad about it! mindy & i went back to her house for a while and played uno stacko.. that game is soo fun! i didn't do much the rest of the day except dance around and get all hyped up for avril. SATURDAY WAS THE BEST! i woke up around 10ish.. i was listening to avril & simple plan and getting hyper [that's better when i woke up at 6:30 the morning of the bsb concert and did laps around the house..lol] the day went by SO slowly.. around 2:30, jess called me and i went over to her house to meet her new guinea pig, hamlet. he's so cute! i only stayed about 20 minutes and then i had to head back to my house cuz erin & sondra would be coming and i wanted to get there before they got there obviously. we hung in my room for a half hour listening to music and then went across the street to culvers for some food [m&m swirl ice cream.. mmmm!] and got back around 4:30, which was perfect, cause that's when we planned to leave. i brought my american idol cd along for the ride [42 songs.. and one hell of a time trying to make it!] people on the road were a bit crazy, this one guy kept changing lanes.. we got there in record time, we hit almost no traffic! it was about 5:30 when we arrived and they opened the doors 20 minutes or so afterwards. we practically flew to get to the line to buy shirts and stuff.. i got a shirt, it's really cute.. it's grey and it's got a red logo on the front [a star and there's an A on one side and a L on the other] with the tour dates on the back & i got a keychain too. we went and found our seats.. they were pretty good, there was the GA floor and then our section and we were in row T, so we had a pretty decent view. it was about 6:00 when we settled in, and we were guy spying with erin's bonoculars.. cute guys everywhere! that had to be the longest hour ever.. i kept looking at my watch thinking at least 20 minutes had passed and only 5 had passed. when the lights finally went down at 7, GOB took the stage.. they were ok, but they played for too long.. they also checked to make sure we all could spell [nope, don't think i can! lol] & then another 15 minutes or so we had to wait while they set up the stage for simple plan. they are sooo much cuter in person!! they did about 8 songs.. before 'the worst day ever' pierre was like 'who here goes to school? who here hates going to school? well then this song is for you...' and then in the middle of their set, he was talking about how much he likes chicago, so he's like 'are you all proud to be chicagoians? if you're proud to be a chicagoian, put your hands up this like this.. now spread them apart.. now hold that thought.' so we're all standing there with our arms up, no clue why, and the music starts, so we all start clapping and he starts singing LOSE YOURSELF, 50 cent & ice ice baby.. it was HILARIOUS. also, when they did 'you don't mean anything', mid-song pierre was like i want everyone to sing, say you don't mean anything to me.. so he's like you don't, you don't, you don't and we're like you don't mean anything to me.. and jess turns to me and she's like you don't mean anything to me!! i should have seen that one coming.. their set was awesome, they're great live performers! it was a little longer of a wait for them to set up for avril.. but the energy was soo high when the curtain rose up for the final time. now i don't remember the order of all her songs, but i know she performed all of them [i remember her doing em all.. just not the order.] plus 'i don't give a damn' which is an awesome song as well. she didn't talk much in between songs except to thank us for coming, intro her band [i felt the need to scream whenever evan was shown on the big screen. *nods*] or talk about the next song, but it was all good. during complicated, she brought two people on stage [a guy & a girl] to help her out. the girl was great, but when it was the guy's turn to sing, he didn't even know the right words! talk about embarrassing! she tripped over her pants once too. it was an overall really awesome show.. it was so much fun! everyone was jumpin around and having a good time.. we were so loud singin all the words hehe. sunday was easter, so we went over to my aunt & uncle's around 3:30. it was a yummy dinner! monday was back to school.. it was so funny, when i got home, i was talking to nicki and she asked me how the concert was and i told her i met simple plan and she flipped.. i also told her that pierre kissed me, and she was going nuts, and she's like 'you're so lucky!' and i'm like 'wanna know what's even luckier?' and she's like 'what?!' and i'm like 'how unbeliviably gulliable you are!' she got soo mad.. sayin she was gonna get me back one of these days [which i don't think is gonna happen because i don't believe her anyways..lol]. monday night they had an ameican idol special about the finalists still in the contest, it was cute! tuesday was the show, and it was diane warren night.. i loved a lot of the songs. carmen went home tho :( wednesday & today have been such easy days.. both days we got out at 12 because juniors had ACT & PSAE testing. yesterday when i got home, my mom called and i went with her & judy to deer park.. we went to lunch at panera bread & then went shopping at the gap. i got a few new shirts and a pair of comfy pants. after that, when we got back, i ran over to jewel to get the new people magazine that was all about american idol.. hehe, it's so cute! tomorrow is the spirit game & jazz cabaret.. i haven't decided which i wanna go to yet, but i'm sure whatever my decision is i'll write about it in here.
K has been in south carolina all this week with her boyfriend.. grr, the week has gone so slow without her! i miss her.. and she's not comin back till saturday or sunday! :(
