(no subject)
wow, its been a while (and this entry took me nearly a month to do!).. i tried to update before i left for disney but i just didn't have any time. this one is gonna be a loooong one.. i'm gonna try and tell as much as i can! so here goes..
thursday: i had 4 classes i had to sit through.. it was awful. it went SO slow.. although mike joined us for a little while at lunch! we left around 1ish.. donny was on my bus and he was late because he got a little violent and hurt his hand by punching one of the lockers in the band room. he spent the entire ride telling me what a horrible person he is and all this.. and then we were having a contest to see who understand the jokes this one kid was teling us faster. he's so slow! anyway, we got to midway around 2:15ish. we got in the line to get boarding passes and check our suitcases, instruments and hat buckets.. of course, i ended up at the end of the line and it took forever. after that was done, we headed down towards security. we got on the moving walkway (that didnt move) and got in what had to be the slowest moving line ever.. when we were just about through the line addison starts singing zippity do dah to the whole crowd lmao he didn't even know half the words.. it was funny. so then we had about 10 or 15 minutes to relax before boarding started. it ended up, just my luck, that i was sitting across the aisle from addison, and of course, he insisted on asking me 203489038403 questions throughout the whole flight. i watched friends and spongebob tho!! the flight wasn't that bad, and when we were coming in for a landing, orlando looked soo pretty at night with everything lit up. it was so hot when we stepped off. we then headed for baggage claim.. it didn't take that long for everyone to get their bags. i called my mom to tell her we landed and she told me toby learned how to wave! (he always has to learn tricks when i'm not around.. luckily he could still do it when i got home..) we got on the busses and left for the hotel then. this hotel was soo much better than the one we stayed at the last time we were in disney! it was just 3 of us in the room, but jess got the bed to herself because she was sick. we searched all around to try and find a working ice machine and then we got into bed, but had to wait till like 12:30 for the chaperones to come.
friday: we woke up around 6ish.. breakfast started at 7. they had eggs and sausage and stuff.. i think i've been turned off by eggs for a while now, they were so nasty! we were spending the day at epcot. we left around 8 and got into the park at like 8:30. i was so excited when i saw the sign that said "welcome to walt disney world". we started walking around and they were playing fun music and we saw some of the characters walking around. the first ride we went on was test track and there was practically no line. i LOVE that ride! i remember the first time i went on it, i thought we were actually gonna go right through that wall that's right before you go outside.. and i didn't even notice that huge truck that's coming towards u, honking with the bright lights, until jess pointed it out to me the second time we went on. (i know how obilvious i am lol) after that ride, we were walking through the area where you come off the ride and there was this thing called dreamcatchers that must have been new because none of us had seen it before. we went on it to see what it was all about.. it was SO dumb, it was this little cartoon thingy talking about the future of cars! how exciting.. anyways, after that we headed over to innovations. that place was lots of fun. we started by playing some games. one was this virtual thing where you had to jump to prevent any of the balls from touching the ground.. i was pretty decent at it. there was also a soccer one just like it, but i didn't get to play it. after that was done, we went and did dance dance revolution to disney songs.. i've never done it before, and i found out how horrible i am! we checked out some computer stuff and then left. we went to america and to the liberty inn for lunch (the place where the titanic was created! also where k always goes, so she told me to stick a note in a tree and she'd read it in august lmao) it was yummy! i called jess from there and we talked, but couldn't meet up because we had the workshop soon after we ate. after lunch, we had a little time to kill so we started walking around and we passed this statue which, from a distance, does not look like it's an actual person, it just looks like a white statue. jess said it was an actual person and i didn't believe her at first, but then i got a closer look and she was real!! she was white from head to toe. people were taking pictures with her and stuff, it was hilarious because she would either not let them go or take something from them. slepak went up there and took a picture with her, she wouldn't let him leave! so we watched that for a while, and then it was time to head to the workshop. it was about 3 hours long, but they surprisingly went really fast. we played a bunch of songs and recorded some stuff and in the end we made a video.. we played a part of beauty and the beast. it was fun, i really liked it. after the workshop, it started raining (gotta love florida weather lol) and we started walking around again. we ran into jess somewhere, and decided to meet up at magic kingdom the next day since they were going to dinner. before we went to dinner, though, we headed to mexico and norway and went on both the rides there.. i liked the norway one more than mexico. we decided to eat in japan, and i tried japanese noodles for the first time.. they were really good! after dinner, we spent the rest of the time shopping. we went into mouse gear, which is the biggest gift shop they have in that park. i couldn't help myself and i bought a baby eeyore.. it was too cute to pass up! we headed back to the hotel around 9. that night the chaporones told us we weren't going to mgm in the morning, which i was kinda disappointed about.. i had been looking forward to going on rocknroller coaster (k would kill me if i didn't.. also, donny just learned that rocknroller was like rock and roll.. ::shakes head:: )
saturday: so i have to tell everyone about how stupid i can be when i'm half asleep (well, i'm pretty dumb most of the time.. but even more so when i'm not fully awake lol) there was a power outage or something in the hotel in the middle of the night.. when we woke up the clock was flashing 3:30. we got an automatic wake up call every morning at 6, so the phone rings and i wake up.. except i think it's the alarm clock (not remembering that i never set it to begin with..lol) so i'm lying there trying to turn off the damn alarm clock and the phone keeps ringing.. and erica and jess were telling me that it was the phone and i didn't even hear them. so once that was finally over with, we slept a little later since we weren't leaving until 9. when we left, i think today was the first day (or maybe it was friday) that i got a message back from kc, so i was happy. we arrived at magic kingdom, and i was so excited. the first place we went to was fantasyland. jess and i wanted to go meet some characters, but erica was being a brat about it so we couldn't. we went on snow white's scary adventures first. it was supposed to be really scary, but i wasn't all that spooked by it. i think that's the only thing we went on in that land.. then we went to liberty square and went to the haunted mansion. i'm not a real big fan of haunted houses, but this one was fun. after that i think we went to lunch.. i forget the name of the place, but we had more burgers and fries. after that, we headed to frontierland and we went on splash mountain. it was a long line like it always it, but it wasn't that bad.. we met this nice guy from london and he was telling us all about london. the ride itself was fun of course.. i loooove that ride! after that, i think we went to meet up with jess by pirates of the caribbean in adventureland. she went on space mountain with us and she actually liked it! i'm trying to convince her that i was the one who got her over her fear of roller coasters, but she says it wasn't me, it was test track. after that, we split up with jess because we were going shopping and there were a few more rides that she wanted to go on. after we shopped for a while, we had to find somewhere to eat, and then it was time to get ready for the parade. we went to get our uniforms at around 5:30. when we were backstage and started walking towards where we were lining up, all the floats and stuff were back there, and so where some of the characters.. except they had their heads OFF! it was funny, we were all shaking hands with them and they're like wow, i feel so famous! the parade started at around 7.. there were soo many people! it was really really neat.. except i nearly killed myself because of course you know with my luck, im marching right on the railroad tracks and my foot got caught for like a second in the tracks. after the parade, we changed and donny and michelle joined our group. we stopped for ice cream and then headed over to thunder mountain railroad. it was so much fun! donny was narrating the entire time, it was amusing. we went on it twice, and then it was like 20 minutes or so before we had to meet up to leave.
sunday: okay, this is going to be kinda frazzled because i don't remember the exact order that we did everything in. today was universal studios.. kinda nice that was the whole day without anything else to do besides have fun in the park. we went on back to the future, terminator, twister, we saw the blues brothers for a couple minutes (while eating dippin dots..yummy!), e.t. adventure (which was really dumb), men in black (which was AWESOME), earthquake, the wild wild wild west stunt show (which was awesome too--they kept playing band songs before the show started!), and ghostbusters.. and can i just say how CUTE those 5 guys were.. ahhhh... beetlejuice turned them into a boy band, so they were dancing to a bunch of songs. it was great! before we went to lunch, these people stopped us and talked us into taking a survey about crossiant sandwiches, and then we had to go try some so that was basically part of our lunch.. then we went somewhere else to eat and we shared a couple of things. we had to meet up with everyone at 7:30, and it turned out that we were the last people to show up. when we got back to the hotel we had a little party in the ballroom. mr. peters played the piano and we were all dancing around.. it was fun. when the chaporones came that night, they said that we were going to MGM tomorrow instead of animal kingdom, which i was happy about. id been looking forward to going on rides there. it was a long day and i was tired, i almost fell asleep right after the chaperones left.
monday: the last day.. so sad! it was depressing to leave the hotel for the last time, and see everything for the last time.. we arrived at MGM around 10:00, and i figured that we would have 2 hours (our group was suppossed to meet at the busses at 12) and i'd get a chance to go on rocknroller coster and whatnot.. but then when we got there, they told us that they had to push it back to 11 because apparently the airport needed more time to check our bags and stuff. that really made me mad, i knew then that we wouldn't have time to do ANYTHING. we ran to the rocknroller coaster as soon as we got inside, but the wait was like 25 minutes, and we couldn't do it.. so what did we end up doing? running around the park trying to find somewhere to eat because the selective list of restaurants on the meal ticket, none of them were open because it was 10am.. that's no time for lunch! lol.. so we finally found a place and got our food to go. we got to the airport sometime between 11:30 and 12 and the line for boarding passes and checking luggage took FOREVER.. when i finally got through there (because of course i was lucky enough to be at the end of the line) it was only like 1:30, and the flight didn't leave until 3:10. so we wondered around until they started boarding.. when we started taking off, i took my last glimpse of the beautiful florida sun and they started the inflight entertainment, which was fraiser, so i decided to try and sleep. i think i slept through the entire avril cd, and when i woke up i felt like i had been hit by a car or something, i felt like i was gonna throw up. we finally reached chicago, and we had circled midway like three times and then they informed us that they couldn't land so we had to fly to indiana! (oh yeah, no inconvience at all..) so we were on the ground there for like 45 minutes or so while midway was shut down.. we took off again and my sickness came back, so i was pretty much miserable for another hour. it was SOO cold when we got our luggage and stepped outside.. god, it was depressing. we arrived back home at around 11ish (we were supposed to get there at 7.. close enough, right? lol) we drove jess home and then we went home and i collasped into bed. all in all, it was an amazing trip.. so many memories and so much fun..
so whats been happening since then? eh, not much.. that week after, there was alot to do.. then that weekend i went shopping with jill, jess and erin.. then last week i was sick for two days (stomach flu.. ick!) so i was up to my knees in makeup work. this past weekend i didn't get to do anything, and it was really nice outside! i'm finally feeling better tho. i'm just about finished up with makeup work, i took my math test today.. which i think i did really bad on, so i'm kinda upset about that.. and then now all i gotta do is a lab for science and do my midi lab. (which i don't know when will get done.. ugh) sara's moved to another table and she has new friends now, but i don't even care anymore.. as much as i'd like to know what the hell i did that made this happen, i just don't care. so yeah, nothing else has really been going on. i'm gonna try and update again soon.. laaaaaater
