Gimp Tutorial

Here is the promised tutorial. If some links don’t work, please let me know.
And if you try it, can you tell me what is not sufficiently explained so I can correct it?

I'm going to have to copy this I think...I was doing OK until I saved for the first time - then I lost the texture background completely!

The file has to be

.xcf

Otherwise you will lose all the layers except for one that is on the top.

WooHooo.. did it! But I used Photoshop bcause for some reason the clone stamp in GIMP didn't work.. I did some other changes on the way.. and used Starsky instead of Hutch- Will post it shortly.. Thanks a bunch Nicky!

Photoshop has more options to play with and you can save your images in CMYK mode, but I can't afford this program so I use the free one :)

Now I know how to use layers and textures!! I wanted to make wallpapers using them and had no idea how to make it!
