So, let's see.
Yesterday, Donnie and I went to get some rear view mirror glue, since on Friday my rear view mirror decided it no longer wished to remain attached to my car. We fixed that all up nice, and like always after some part of my car gets fixed, I love it and think nothing else will ever break.
Then we went over to the mall. I went to the ATM while Donnie got a haircut. I put in $60 and it said I had $33.41. Turns out my account was overdrawn by $2, so it charged me $25.
But, I bought a cd, and we left. We went back to his house to get Donnie Darko, since it was 3 days late. We were there with Chris and Bessy for about a half an hour, then tried to leave. But my car had other things in mind. Nothing would work...the lights, locks, nothing. And the key would stick in the ignition and had a lot of trouble coming out. Anyways, we decided it was odd, but it must be the battery so we got Chris Bivans outisde and his big tough ex-marine neighbor guy and they tried for a good 20 minutes or so to jump it. He said it wasn't working because the plates inside my battery were dry and that we needed to go buy a gallon of distilled water and dump it in there and then try it. So we did what he said. Went to the gas station, they didn't have distilled water. Went to CVS got some distilled water, went back to my obnoxious car, and then fulled up the battery with that. It worked. So Donnie and I went to West Springfield to West Coast Video to return the movie. (The last time my car died was while we were on our way to the West Coast Video in Chicopee, mind you.) So we went in, returned the movie, and tried to start the car. By tried I mean we did not do it at all. So we called Jimmy Young, and he came and tried to jump us for a wicked long time, but nothing happened but a few sparks. Some random man who smelled like alcohol told us it was not the battery, it was the starter. He told us to get those cables off of there, and he said we had to "bang on the starter with a hammer". He then proceeded to bang on my car with Jimmy's flashlight. Needless to say, that did absolutely nothing. We had Jim drop us off at the church because that's where my mom was. I tried to call my house first but Al had hung up on me.
Peter Hicks heard we were having trouble, and went and told Scott Rines, so he came over there. We tried triple A but there retarded and transferred me to the Florida triple A, and then back to the Massachusetts one and were trying to tell me that I only get my first 5 miles of towing free, which is wrong because I have that super delux package or whatever it is. Scott Rines came over to the car with us, and tried to jump it again. Nothing doing. So I went with my mom back to our house to get Donnie's car. Donnie went with Scott Rines to get his trailer. And my mom and Mrs. Rines went home. I got in Donnie's car and realized that if I got pulled over I would have to lie a whole lot and overreact as much as possible seeing as Donnie doesn't have insurance, and my lisence was in my broken car. Andy, Danny, Kevin Daviau, and Josh all came to help out, and we went back to the Rines. Apparently ex-marine was wrong and you should NOT dump distilled water in your battery, and ESPECIALLY NOT fill it up. He said you could put a very little bit, but the best thing to do would be just buy some solution. So he charged the battery and dumped out the water, jumped it again, and it worked. He said I should get my car looked at though, because it sounded funny, and I may need to buy a new battery. By this time it was 10:45, about 5 hours and 15 minutes after we had tried to go to the video store.
So Donnie just slept over because he had to wake up at 5:30 and it wouldn't be cool for him to have to drive from Agawam when he works in Chicopee.
Now, I'm quite scared to start my car, but I have to go to the ATM to put the rest of the money I didn't know I was missing back into my account. It's not a huge deal.
I have to write a paper due tomorrow.
And my computer was really broken. It wouldn't even take you to the log-in screen, it would just shut off. But I guess it's fixed for now, except I think the Sims got deleted.
This saddens me ever so much.
The End.
