Boasting about Dan YET again
Today he read THREE books. Real ones.
Admittedly, the books were first readers, not the works of Shakespeare. Here is the text of one, for your further enlightenment:
Run, Rat, run!
Rat met Cat,
Run, Rat, run!
Cat met Dog.
Run, Cat, run!
Dog met Pig.
Run, Dog, run!
Rat hid! Cat hid! Dog hid...
...in a red hut!
Pig ran in!
(at this point, all the animals jump out of their hiding places, terrifying the pig, who had no business chasing a dog anyway)
Run, Pig, run!
Now, if I can just stop him saying 'excamaton mark!" in great excitement every time he sees one, this will go a lot quicker.
