Sea Dwelling Woman

Oct 16, 2014 00:36

On my bench, pressed in the sand
I'm seated before a cheap baby grand
So I play before the people around
And their dogs who are all listening now

My fingers blur away
A majestic key tapping display
Chords and melodies I'd not seen before
Filling the air on that sun shiny shore

Everyone sings and dances and sways
As the piano song continuously plays
So they don't notice in the water out there
A woman approaching with red auburn hair

She's not noticed because of the song
Everyone's too busy dancing and clapping along
Sea dwelling woman, amazing to behold her
But she sneaks right up just over my shoulder

And she looks at my face and says

Exponentially, Good Binary Does Function
And
Even Great Britain Doesn't Fret
And
Every Good Bubble Dissolves Fast

Then my alarm goes off and I wake up.
