I hate being busy...I always end up trying to make time to just bum around...like now! Not good since dissertation first deadline is tomorrow. Finished? Pfft, no. It's not in too sorry a state, but have just realised I only saw my tutor five times and it specifically says you need to have seen them at least six times...bit late now ^^''''' Why did I not realise this earlier, damnit?!
Off to university computer room, because I concentrate about ten times better than at home, where I find the time to write silly things on this journal.
I've decided. Best anime this season: Kamen no Maid Guy. Shame on you if you haven't seen it. It's pure awesomeness. Damn them for only scheduling 10 episodes! Maid Guy is pretty much one of the funniest characters I have ever come across. He does such perverted things but because he's MAID GUY, he didn't do it for perverted reasons. It just made sense to him. Example: An enemy had appeared. Mind controlled a guy to tell him what he saw, which was a green skirt and strawberry underwear. So, this means it must be one of the girls at the school. Best means to find them, in Maid Guy's mind, is to remove all underwear from the girls and examine them. At which point the other maid goes: WTF ARE YOU DOING?!!!! And hits the self destruct button to temporarily put him down. "Hmm, I was almost turned into ashes." Why he couldn't have used his x-ray vision on all the girls I don't know. He had no problem doing it on some of the more older female characters. :P
Yes the show is ecchi as hell, but not as ecchi as Kanokon...that show gets worse with each episode. I decided to check out ep 2 and it was worse (which was hard to believe until I'd seen it) than the first. Thinly veiled porn. My main problem with it is....THE GUY LOOKS 12 YEARS OLD!!!!! Seriously. "Aw Kouta, you don't like my breasts anymore? Then how about this?" Full shot of panties. Not a partial shot, not a shot from behind where only he'd see them. No. Full on shot of her pants right in the middle of the screen leaving nothing to the imagination. Oh, and naked wrestling in the bath house was...thinly veiled porn frankly. How the hell did they get away with animating this series? O_o
I haven't been able to watch anything else, alas. I recently got into downloading programmes off BBC iPlayer, which has been fun.
I forgot how funny Brian Blessed is. Btw, he swears quite a bit and the MP is gay, just in case you were wondering X
