A Question
Q: What is more annoying than getting the incredibly annoying mark of 84/100 for an essay (i.e. one mark off a HD)?
A: Having marker's comments that ended with: "One matter that you do not consider - at least explicitly - is the possibly that poetry by women, for the most part, is not as good as that by men. Of course, it's totally politically incorrect to say so. That doesn't mean it isn't true!"
In other news, I've come to the conclusion that doing disaparate subjects sucks. I mean, of course a broad education is useful. But trying to write an English essay about "the body", learning social psychology and studying for calculus just doesn't create much synergy. And yes, 2.5 years of University English and I still use words like "synergy". I would like my money back, please.
