Hi guys! Haven't written in a few days so I thought I would. This weekend has been simple but good. Friday night, only thing I did was keep Harold & Joey for Manda for like 2 hours, other than that, I was quite lazy, didn't wanna go anywhere or do anything which is VERY rare for me on a Friday night. Yesterday I slept til almost 1, SCORE (Beans, lol to the person who gets that!) I haven't slept in on a weekend in I don't know how long. Well of course unless it was hangover sleep but that doesn't could as sleep to me. Yesterday, Me, Amanda and some of our friends went over to Ms. Denham's house and cooked out and swam, nothing too exctiting but it was fun. I haven't hung out with all of them together in a long while. Funny story happened but I am too lazy to write so you'll have to ask me about it, it's freakin hilarious! It proves that I have a way with retarded people and can get them to do anything, lol. We got home about 10 and I went to bed early, yay! Only for my phone to ring and not until this morning did I know I was on the phone for like 45 minutes and don't recall my conversation at all, that could be bad! Uh, my mom just walked by and touched my neck, now I've got the heeby jeebies! I'm visiting her today ;) So far today, I met Mandi for breakfast. It was funny, she ate like 10 pieces of bacon and I was messing with her saying a pig had to die for that and stuff like that and she had to spit the last piece out, I was laughing so hard! Then I came to my mom's and watched The Wedding Date, GREAT movie! Kinda what you expected to happen but still good. I got chill bumps when Nick told Kat "I'd rather be fighting with you than making love to someone else!" WoW! Then of course, since I had to be up early this morning, I took a nap. I just got up, woohoo! I'm fixing to go to Chili's and to the hockey game, fun fun! I'm aggrivated about all this hurricane relief stuff. I think it's great that America and all these other countries have taken charge and given food, money, assistance, etc. BUT I have a problem when yesterday on TV the head guy on Metropolitan Ministries gets on saying they didn't have anything to feed the poor today because donations have STOPPED! I believe in helping others in need but dang we have problems here in Florida too that need to be taken care of as do all other states. Mandi and I had this arguement last night, because she wondered why I thought we should feel homeless people who don't try to work, but as I explained to her, some of these people do work, and bust their butts but aren't able to provide ENOUGH. My mother raised 8 kids on her own, NO HELP from our scum bag dead beats dads and things were hard for us. We were dirt poor, never ate at a food bank but I can see where people need for a hot meal once a day. What really gets to me (and believe me, I am FAR from racist!) but many of those people over there are living a better life today than they've ever lived. Many of them chose not to work, many of them were collecting from the government, now EVERYTHING is being handed to them and it bothers me. I forsee this as an ongoing issue!
