The award for 2010's most awkward conversation can be given out today, to me and some random electrician at work:

Electrician: Hey. Oh HEY! You look JUST like my buddy Kevin!
Nick: Yeah? is that a good thing or a bad thing?
Electrician: Good
Nick: Well, cuz i know some people have "buddies" that aren't really "buddies", and all...
Electrician: Yeah! No, I mean, it's a good thing because he's one of my only buddies that's actually still alive...
Nick: *Blink*
Electrician: *Pause*
Nick: Welp, i've gotta mosey on out...
Electrician: You COULD look like my best bud Leon though...
Nick: Oh yeah? Ugly guy?
Electrician: No, he's dead.
