Update
I'm watching Happy Hour on Speed right now.
Remind me not to play baseball/softball with Elliott Sadler...at least without protective head gear. Last night on Speed they did a segment with Reed Sorenson because Reed's throwing out the first pitch at the Cubs game I think on Monday night so they had Larry Mac be the catcher & they had a whole set up Major League specifications of the pitcher's mound & plate & they had Reed toss a few pitches. Then Jeff Hammond came up to the plate to act like a batter. Thank God he had on a helmet, chest protector & shin guards. Because once Reed was done tossing some pitches they let Elliott toss some. He freakin' beaned Hammond in the head! OMG! Dude!
Just got done eating lunch. Left over broccoli cheese soup & bread from Ruby Tuesday's. Just got back from Meijer too. I went to Meijer this morning after I got out of the shower. I had to get dog food for the puppies & did my grocery shopping. They had bing cherries on sale so I got me some of those & some strawberries too. Oh yeah & cuccumbers to make cuccumber feta salad.
Mom & I had Mackenzie last night & today because Kim's in a golf tournament today. That kinda sucks because it's been raining on & off all day so far. When I got to mom's last night mom was sitting in the backyard in her lawn chair watching Mackenzie swim in the pool. She's been bugging us to go swimming today too but she can't cuz it's raining. So she's pretty bummed about that.
After we got Mackenzie out of the pool last night & got her dressed we went to Ted's Coney Island for dinner. I had a turkey club, cole slaw & fries for dinner. While mom had fish & chips & Mackenzie had a kid's hot dog meal with chocolate milk.
Yesterday for lunch Kim & I went to Ruby Tuesday's for their soup & salad bar. I didn't eat my soup & brought it home with me. I chowed down on 2 huge plates of salad though. I love their salad bar. It's so good!
Thursday night when I got home from work Aunt Susie, Andy, Uncle Kenny, Aunt Sunok & Sam were over. They had just gotten done putting up & taking down Grandma's new pop up camper. She had just gotten it on Thursday so they wanted to see how long it took to set it up & they wanted to see what it looked like. It's so cute! We had hot dogs & cheeseburgers on the grill with macaroni salad for dinner. They were going to see Harry Potter & the Order of the Phoenix Thursday night after leaving Grandma's house (at 8 pm) so I went with them. I'm not really gonna talk about the movie for those who haven't seen it yet but I did think it was really good. Mom & I are meeting Barb & I think Andy tomorrow for a 5 pm showing of it. None of them have seen it yet & I'm going to see it again. Barb said she's gonna let Megan & Hailly see it before tomorrow so they can stay home & watch Alex & Hannah while we go to the movies tomorrow afternoon.
