Friday night was a lot of fun. I picked mom up at the house & then drove up to Ruby Tuesday's for dinner with the girls. There was a total of 10 of us. Me, mom, Barb, Hailly, Megan, Jenny, April, Taylor, Jenny & Erin. We'll have to do that again soon, it was cool to see the kids together. Mom & Rummler were talking about going down to the Detroit Science Center to see that human body exhibit. Blech! That just makes my stomach churn.
Saturday I vegged & watched TV & played around on the computer most of the day. Watched the Busch race from Daytona. Mom spoiled me with chicken cacciatore for dinner. That's my favorite thing she makes. Until I had to clean up the dishes & got spaghetti sauce all over my white t-shirt. DOH!
Yesterday I didn't even get dressed. I vegged out in my Kasey Kahne jammie pants & my Elliott Sadler t-shirt. Mom had Mackenzie for the afternoon yesterday. Mom went to pick her up about 1 pm & she stayed til almost 7 pm. I didn't really get to spend a lot of time with her yesterday because I was so occupied with watching the 500. Mom & her watched Mulan, The Rescuers & I think Pete's Dragon. They painted at the kitchen table. Mackenzie painted a picture of Ariel jumping out of the water next to a rock. It was too cute, she loves the Little Mermaid, heck she loves all the Disney Princesses, especially Belle. I wish mom would've told me that Mackenzie was sick before I hugged & kissed all over her when she walked in the door yesterday. Today I'm not feeling so hot myself. I'm so sleepy, I just can't wake up today. I've had a cup of coffee & now I'm working on a bottle of Mountain Dew & nothing seems to be working. I can't wait to get home & crawl into bed. Is it 5 pm yet?
Mom's birthday is on Saturday. So needless to say either Friday night or Saturday morning I need to head out to Hobby Lobby to pick up her present. She wants a table top easel so she can paint at the table like a real artist. LOL! ;)
Saturday evening we're coming down to eat dinner at Lone Star. Mom's craving a good steak. Me too, that sounds really good! Grandma's gonna meet us there. That should be a lot of fun. I wish Port Huron would get a steak house. A Lone Star, Outback, I really don't care which one as long as we get a steak house.
